Could you provide us with an overview of Innovista Sensors and the Crouzet brand? How do your products serve mission-critical applications in the aerospace industry?

Crouzet is a company that specializes in the design, manufacture, and supply of components such as switches, position sensors, actuators, and electrical protection and cockpit control solutions. Our products are specifically tailored to meet our customers’ application needs, and we have a deep understanding of the environments they operate in. As a result of our expertise, 80% of our revenue comes from adapted and customized products. We are a medium-sized company, but we remain a Tier One supplier to major OEMs such as Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Embraer, and Airbus Helicopters. Our annual revenue stands at €142 million, with aerospace being our largest market, accounting for a third of our revenue.

As larger companies such as Airbus and Boeing pressure their suppliers to bring down prices, how does Crouzet respond to this challenge?

At Crouzet, we focus on innovation to continuously deliver better value to our customers. We aim to provide solutions that lower the total cost of ownership. Our efficient and high-performing supply chain enables us to accept these challenges and act as a platform for other companies to participate in this journey. While larger companies aim to consolidate the supply chain to increase efficiency and reduce prices, our focus is on strategic and sustainable partnerships or acquisitions with other companies that align with our goals. In line with this, we have taken on an M&A director to help us achieve our objectives.

Given your expertise and experience in the aerospace industry, what are Innovista Sensors and Crouzet’s future growth prospects and potential challenges?

We believe our major growth prospects in the short to medium term lie in expanding our capabilities in the fixed wings market and developing new partnerships with complementary businesses. As a company, we aim to be proactive in our product offerings and maintenance instead of being reactive. We plan to create an integrated product offering and solution for our clients. Our goal is to be a leader in MRO activity by 2020, and we plan to achieve this through new acquisitions. In addition, we will also focus on South American and African markets for maintenance and modernization services. Our biggest challenge will be to maintain the high level of quality that our customers expect while continuing to innovate and remain competitive in the industry.
